Financial Support for Treatment
This is the most important part of Sahayta's mission. Sahayta tries to provide cancer drugs to needy patients. The priority is to treat patients with good prognosis who cannot afford their costly treatment.

Typical Recipient
Mukesh was referred to us by Dr. S.C. Sharma when Sahayta was still in its infancy.
When the doctor diagnosed him with lymphoma his father told him he could not afford his treatment. Dr. Sharma sent him to our office to see if we could help. When we told his father that Sahayta will sponsor the entire treatment he burst in tears. We bought him drugs for 6 cycles of chemotherapy. Now more than 10 years later Mukesh (picture left being facilitated at our annual function) is disease free, married and a father of a son. .
Since then Sahayta has helped many more like Mukesh.
During the last financial year we spent Rs 25,31,390 ($45,100) on chemotherapy drugs.
