Counseling

Sahayta volunteers who are survivors or caregivers of survivors, attend clinics in three departments of PGI Hospital : Radiotherapy, Internal Medicine and Haemtology and Paediatric Oncology. 

With the chief focus on emotional support to the patients and family members, hospital volunteers discuss and distribute printed informaiton on cancer, its treatment and side effects.
